Welcome to another Faith-Based Bible study lesson as we make our way through the first book of the Bible. In this lesson, we will begin with the scripture found in the book of Genesis, the fifth chapter, and the twenty-second verse. And we will read through the twenty-fourth verse.
Genesis 5:22-24 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. (KJV)
There are only a few people in the Bible that never died. Enoch, Elijah, and Melchisedec never saw death. Enoch was the first man to have a close relationship with God, and he walked with God so intimately God translated him and took him home to be with the Lord before he gave up the ghost and died.
After Enoch begat Methuselah, he had sons and daughters during a life span of 365 years, and God took him. So one day, righteous Enoch wasn't because God had translated him.
Psalm 23
A Psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Welcome to chapter five of the book of Genesis, the first old testament book of the Bible. It has been a great blessing to share these revelations in the scriptures with all of my listeners. I want to thank each one of you who supports this ministry. And those who like and subscribe to the YouTube channel. It really does help out this channel and encourages me in this work I feel led to.
The fifth chapter of Genesis is about the generations of Adam in the day that God created man. And it reads.
Genesis 5:1-3 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; 2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. 3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth: (KJV)
Although Cain was the firstborn of Adam, it was not said of Cain that he was in the image and likeness of his father, Adam.
1 John 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. (KJV)
Able was righteous before God but was killed by his older brother, so God made Seth in the likeness and image of Adam, who was in the likeness and image of God. This is why it was not until after Seth was born that men began to call on the name of the Lord.
Malachi 2:15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. (KJV)
Adam was created in God's image and likeness, and then he had a son in his likeness and image. So Seth was still in the image of God because his father had the image of God, and he passed it on to his son. So Seth could not have had the appearance of anybody else but of God.
Now, about the time of Enoch, some exciting things began to happen. And it starts with Seth first as the scripture reads, "that men began to call on the Name of the Lord." It is important to remember that from the day God created man on earth until Seth, God had not revealed any of His names to the people. Therefore, in faith, men began to call on the name of the Lord. So let's take a few moments to rejoice in the names of our God.
ADONAI is pronounced: ah-doe-NI, which means THE LORD, MY GREAT LORD, God is the master, our majestic Lord, and our total authority..............
All praise and glory to God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ for guiding us through the first couple of chapters in the first book of the old testament. Now we're in Genesis chapter four, beginning at the first verse. For those who have not followed along from the beginning, I strongly encourage you to listen to the first video, the Study of Genesis - Introductory Notes. Then, take your time and enjoy each video in chronological order. This first published video on the Study of Genesis explains how to see the scriptures in faith. Finally, there is revelation awaiting to be revealed to you within every video if you are willing to listen and listen with all your attention. Not only listening to the Word of God but being a doer of the Word guarantees you will be blessed.
At the beginning of the fourth chapter in the book of Genesis, Adam knows his wife intimately, and she conceives and gives birth to Adam's firstborn, Cain, and says, "I have gotten a man from the Lord!"
Genesis 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord (KJV).
The first man Adam who was made a living soul, sinned against God by breaking the commandment of God. And so, through this one man's sin, the whole creation was subjected to vanity under the law. But the second man Adam was made a quickening Spirit by whose death sanctification came to all that believe in the name of Jesus.
However, because of the curse God had spoken to Adam, his firstborn son Cain would inherit the task of tilling the cursed ground. Because God would visit the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
Numbers 14:18 The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation (KJV).
When the fathers sinned before grace and truth came, the children's teeth were set on edge. But knowing that a man cannot be justified by his works, it is evident that Cain's work would not be accepted as a sufficient sacrifice.
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified (KJV).

We went over what God told Satan and Eve in the last episode. Now in this Faith-Based Bible Study on Genesis 3:17-24 - Lesson 16, it is time to focus on how God responded to Adam. Remember that what is being spoken must be spiritually discerned to understand the revelation revealed to you. Paul mentions the ground in first Timothy chapter three and verse fifteen in a light that manifests truth. Seeing the ground in this light is critical to understanding Genesis beyond what can be observed with the natural eyes. What can be seen is temporary, but what can not be seen is eternal.
1 Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth (KJV).
Stay focused on the "ground of the truth," although earth's land should not be dismissed altogether.
Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life (KJV).
And so what happened? The land got cursed; this was just the traditional land of the earth that was cursed and was not the pillar and ground of the truth where God had formed Adam.
All praise and glory be to God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of God's grace and guidance, we have made it through Genesis chapter one, chapter two, and half of the third chapter. In this episode, I will begin by bringing to your memory how Eve had eaten the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. She also had given her husband Adam to eat, and he ate the fruit. And after they had eaten the fruit, their eyes were open, and they knew that they were naked and tried to hide from God among the vegetation in the garden of Eden. And then, they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, calling for Adam. Adam and Eve had tried to cover up by making leaf aprons, but that did not work out for them. So after Adam answered God, something happens that I did not mention in the episode before this one. Instead of Adam taking responsibility for what he had done, he instantly blamed the woman for giving him the fruit. It was as if Adam was telling God that it was God's fault that Adam had eaten the fruit. In other words, Adam dared to tell God that the woman that was given to him was the problem because she was the one that gave it to him, and so he ate it. So let us read this passage of scripture. Genesis 3:12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat (KJV).
No matter where you are, God is there. And no matter how you got to wherever you are, the hand of the Lord guided you to that place. Keep this in mind as we continue through the first book of the old testament. Allow the Spirit of the Lord to enlighten your understanding of the ways of God in Truth. Do not resist the Spirit of Truth as He directs your life, but walk willingly in the steps God has ordained for you.
I want to take some time and talk about the word serpent for a while, not the creature called a serpent, also known as a snake. But instead, I will be focusing on what the word serpent means concerning human beings.
The word serpent can mean:
To Speculate
To Hypothesize
To Guess
To Fortune Tell
In ancient times, a very smart, sly, cunning, and malicious person was an emblem of the serpent. Notice in the passage of scripture found in the book of Matthew that Christ called the people serpents and a generation of vipers. Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell (KJV)?
As we begin the third chapter from the first verse in the book of Genesis, keep in mind that to follow along with clarity and an understanding, you must forget about all knowledge of the world you have been taught and focus on listening to the Spirit of Truth you have of God. For example, verse one speaks about a serpent in Genesis chapter three. Naturally, the mind of the world translates that to a snake. But what can you understand by the Spirit of God?
Look closely at the passages of scriptures found in Genesis chapter one verses, twenty through twenty-one, and compare this passage of scripture to Genesis chapter two verse nineteen.
There was no way for man to make it without two things. I'll mention women first because that is the most widely understood today when speaking about physical things in the flesh. Women are a large part of what makes the world go around. Without the female, the male would cease to exist on earth. Again, speaking of things concerning the flesh, the male without the female is a dead man.
TRUST IN THE LORD
#biblicaltruth
Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
James 1:2-3 KJV 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
Biblical Truth
1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
God gave Adam access to every tree and every green thing in the entire garden except for one tree. It was entirely up to Adam to manage the garden as he saw fit. Adam was in complete control. Although God knew that Adam would mess it all up, God intentionally gave Adam freedom in his choices.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Philippians 4:6-8 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
James 1:2-3 KJV
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
This episode reflects the Genesis chapter two verses seven through nine-episode. To recap the last episode, first, I want to bring to your memory the passage of scripture telling about the tree of knowledge of good and evil amid the garden of Eden as a reflection in everyday life. Now to reflect on daily choices we make constantly. There is an opportunity to get it right or mess things up in every choice.
Before continuing with this one, I encourage you to revisit the previous episodes, especially if it has been a while since you listened to them. There is a strong focus on ethics and morals in this episode, and following along from the beginning may help as we make our way through the book of Genesis.
Love causes prayer and praying brings love. Praying is one of the most important and powerful things we can do.
Biblical Truth
Proverbs 18:22 KJV
Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.

Pastor Allen Rodgers Many people don't know how much Jesus suffered for you and me and that His suffering is throughout the Bible. In this lesson, we will hear many scriptures speaking of the suffering of Jesus and how important it is to eat the Holy Supper.
All you can eat is enlightenment.
I am excited to share what God has opened my eyes to see with you. We know that God is real. We know that God will never suffer more on us than we can bear, but sometimes it seems like the load gets a little heavy. But because our lives are hidden in Christ with God, the things that we go through, God knows we can handle as long as we stay in His will. Thank you to everyone who has shown Guided Way Ministries support. We appreciate all of you, those who support us financially, our volunteers, followers, and the likes; God Bless you all!
The host of Heaven in the creation of all the earth rejoiced as God created the habitation of humanity. So within the first chapter of Genesis, you can see the order in the design. First, God made the Heavens, and afterward, He created the host of Heaven to rejoice in their new habitation. And then came the creation of the earth, when the morning stars witnessed its birth, and they rejoiced with great joy. Then, following God's creative work making the planet, He formed the inhabitance of the world to enjoy everything therein.
What the earth brought forth is natural, whereas the water brought forth spiritual beings. What was created from the ground finds its way back to the planet. God created man from the dust, but death came upon us because of sin. And after we die, our flesh will turn back into dust once again. But those born the second time are not born the same way they were the first time and will never taste the second death
The instruction and reproofs of God build up a person better than the best instructors or institutions of this world. Those in the night walk without stumbling because they hate their brother. We walk in the light if we follow the commandments and the laws of God. A fantastic thing about the light of the laws and commandments of God is that they are for signs and seasons in every person's life.

Listen to the story of the birth and gift of Jesus Christ be explained simplistically, by Mark Rodgers. Merry Christmas to everyone, and Happy New Year 2022!
God has used the windows in the firmament of Heaven for more than to flood the earth. He also opens the windows of Heaven when one of His children has done something so simple as to fulfill the verse in Malachi chapter three verse ten. Do not doubt that God will not open the windows of Heaven to pure you out a blessing so much so; you will not have the room to receive it all.
In 2 Corinthians chapter four, verse eighteen, we will read about the importance of perspective; how you see the world can determine how you react to it. Have you heard Newton's third law of extraction, how there is always an equal Reaction to every Action? Actions have consequences, whether you like it or not, or are aware of it. It is crucial to be mindful of how you see the scriptures and the world around you because a change in perspective toward spirituality can change your life forever (KJV).
Welcome to the study of Genesis. The unique material was first recorded while driving in a workplace situation. What I will be explaining is not what is commonly understood when the scriptures are read. But I will teach the scriptures from a faith-based spiritual point on aspects of revelation versus conventional notions of what the scriptures might mean, introduced after man's tradition. I trust it will add a dynamic dimension to your study of this first Old Testament book.

2 Timothy 4:1-5 KJV
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Whatever a person plants that he will also reap. Tares are those terrible things we reap in life. However, we do not have to let the enemy plant a whole lot of evil in our life when it is hidden in Christ Jesus. When we deviate from our walk with Christ, the wicked one comes and plants tares or sin within us.

13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
